DomainKeys Identified Mail in Shared Hosting
If you host a domain in a shared hosting account from us, all the mandatory records for using the DomainKeys Identified Mail feature will be added by default. This will happen once you add the domain name in the Hosted Domains section of the Hepsia hosting Control Panel, on the condition that the domain also uses our NS resource records. A private key will be generated on our email servers, while a public key will be added to the DNS system automatically by using the TXT record. In this way, you will not need to do anything manually and you will be able to make use of all the benefits of this validation system – your messages will be sent to any destination without being disallowed and no one will be able to send email messages faking your e-mail addresses. The latter is quite important if the type of your worldwide web presence suggests sending regular newsletters or offers via email to potential and current clients.
DomainKeys Identified Mail in Semi-dedicated Servers
Our semi-dedicated service come with DKIM enabled by default, so if you pick a semi-dedicated server package and you add a domain using our name servers through your Hepsia Control Panel, the records required for the email validation system will be created automatically – a private encryption key on our mail servers for the e-signature and a TXT resource record carrying the public key for the DNS system. As the DKIM protection is set up for a particular domain name, all addresses created with it will have a signature, so you will not have to worry that the email messages that you send may not reach their target email address or that somebody may fake any of your addresses and attempt to scam/spam people. This may be really important in case you use email communication in your business, as your colleagues and/or customers will be able to distinguish legitimate emails from spoofed ones.
