File Manager in Shared Hosting
The File Manager tool, that's a part of our in-house made Hepsia CP, will allow you to administer all of the files that you upload to your shared hosting account with ease. You could move files and entire folders by dragging-and-dropping them within the account. You could upload content in the same manner - select a file/folder on your PC and drag it to your Internet browser in which the File Manager is loaded. By right-clicking a file or a folder inside your account, you may also access context menus with more complex options - you shall be able to create or to unpack an archive, to set up a password-protected area, to modify the UNIX permissions via a web interface or to modify the content with a number of editors without ever leaving the Control Panel – a code editor, an HTML editor or a plain text editor. We've also added help articles and instructional videos, which you can access straight from the File Manager to get more information about its features.
File Manager in Semi-dedicated Servers
The File Manager tool, which is an important part of our custom Hepsia hosting Control Panel, will give you total control over your content and will take away the need of using third-party applications. If you would like to upload a file to your semi-dedicated server account, you will simply have to drag-and-drop it, because the File Manager supports uploads, so you will not have to employ an FTP client anymore. You'll also be able to move folders and files within the account just as easily and their structure shall be kept intact. If you would like to change the permissions of any file, to set up a password-protected area for a domain name or a subdomain or to edit a file by using a plain text or an HTML editor, you will simply have to use the right-click, because you may access all these functions through right-click context menus - you’ll feel like you’re working on your computer. To make managing your content a whole lot easier, you'll be able to sort it in ascending or descending order by name, size or last modified date.
